Iron Round Solid Shot. Want to use a proper and historic Iron Cannon Ball? Use the Hern – iron solid round shot! 4″ spherical.
All these balls were originally commissioned by and for the Alamo Museum in San Antonio
The Hern Cannon Balls will measure 3% under 4″ diameter actual. They would make Excellent display for your yard or hearth. *** Do not force fit balls into your cannon! If it does not freely roll down and back out – DO NOT USE!! Effort is made to ensure that balls are spherical, but customer will want to bore check each individual ball to his gun first before loading powder. Finish any irregularities that may be observed. Balls may be re-used, again – check for blemishes that need to be cleaned up with a file or grinder.
Will run with the Gribeauval. Could run in the 4-1/2″ bore full scale Napoleon with a Sabot (?)
